About this calculator
Dearness Allowance (DA) is a percentage of your basic pay, revised twice a year (January and July) using the AICPI-IW price index. This calculator shows your DA in rupees at the current and projected rates.

The rule it uses
AICPI-IW Formula: Central Govt DA is revised twice a year on 1st January and 1st July based on the 12-month average of the All-India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (Base 2016=100).
