About this calculator
Transport Allowance depends on your pay level and on whether you are posted in one of the 19 higher TPTA cities. Dearness Allowance is paid on top of TA at the current DA rate.

The rule it uses
DoE Transport Allowance Rules: Level 1–2 gets ₹1,350/₹900 (or ₹3,600/₹1,800 if Basic ≥ ₹24,200); Level 3–8 gets ₹3,600/₹1,800; Level 9–13A gets ₹7,200/₹3,600; Level 14+ gets ₹15,750 + DA (unless using official staff car).
